RE: Propane hookup for grill -- directly to the trailer ??

Ditto the pipe going to the RV is low pressure. You need high pressure for the Q. Thats a big 10-4 there good buddy Or as others have done, you need to remove the regulator from the Weber grill. Hoses and fittings can be purchased at any length from propane dealers.

RE: Eagle Jayco 31.5BHDS any concerns

We have the 2007 31.5BHDS (still called Jayflight then). The only issue I have is a slight leak from the shower enclosure, that I believe just needs to be caulked. Other than that it has been a great unit. It is our second Jayco, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Basement storage is limited though, compared to other makes.

RE: Association Island RV resort & marina

Just got back and agree with most of the comments above. The location is beautiful, but the campground needs work. As mentioned, there are no activities for kids and the playground is limited. The restaurant/bar on site is no longer open. Bring extra hoses if possible, many of the lakeview lots allow you to pull or back in (for views) but you will need long hoses to extend to the services. The cable stations are very limited, so bring satellite if possible. The bugs can be horrible, depending on the wind (which at times is very strong). They have water fleas(?) which swarm depending on the wind and get all over everything. If you like fishing, and don't go out on a boat, don't waste your time in the marina or inlet. Go over to the bridge on the entrance road, the bass catching there is good. By no means would I consider the campground a 5W rated.

RE: Frame Problem??????????????

I would think you can bring the truck to a frame shop, the ones that specialize in fixing bent/broken frames. They should be able to grind the old mounts off and reinforce frame if necessary.

RE: Shortbed & Fifth Wheel?

You may want to check the tow/pin ratings on the the 2500MC. I think you may be surprised and the 2500 may not offer enough for a 35' trailer. Other than that, I have a 3500MC short box w/o slider and have had no problems. But you can't go wrong with getting a slider, even if you never have to pull the lever.

Can anybody in Houston Area check out a truck for me?

Looking at this truck http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...EF:MOTORS:1123 looks real clean by the pictures, just one ding. Just wondering if someone in the area could check it out and let me know if it is worth bidding on or flying in? Thanks
